Philips A1Pro/00 Philips A1 Professional DJ headphones – Great but quite a low sound

Great audio – some supplemental flexibility. Having a short while ago had the likelihood to use an exceptional bluetooth headset i puzzled what the philips a1-pro ‘professional dj headphones’ could possibly bring to the party. The headphones arrive supplied with a cable of some one hundred forty cm – with a tiny further flex thanks to a spring coiled flex section (supplying a valuable buffer if you pull a little way too considerably). The cable is different from the headset and can be twist locked into the earphones on either the remaining or proper facet – which can be valuable if you happen to be plugged into anything immovable. The other stop terminates in a normal 3. Added advantage – the cable can be replaced separately if needed. The headphones are adjustable in the usual way – the headband will allow adjustment still left and correct as essential the earpieces are padded and relaxation comfortably on the ears. Whilst they do not totally enclose them they arrive pretty near and deliver that influence – modified properly they are snug to put on for lengthy periods.

Fantastic for doing the job djs and for listening to all types of tunes. . These are incredibly extremely excellent headphones. Marketed as professional dj headphones i was anticipating a really neutral, practically dull sound, as they are meant to be screens alternatively than anything you would use for listening pleasure. And even though they do have a incredibly well balanced sound in that there is no ridiculous bass and the trebles don’t ping out at you it will work on these ‘phones to give a fantastically balanced, thorough, abundant seem. I have been employing the exceptional sennheiser urbanite http://www. Uk/gp/item/b00m3nzyki currently, and seriously having fun with them, but i’m discovering myself preferring these less costly philips headphones. I can hear far more, and they sense ‘clearer’ and brighter in tone. They are nice and light-weight on the head, with a lot of home for your ears, and are created from a pleasant flexible plastic which reassures that they’ll be really tricky to crack.

Terrific product excellent make, wonderful seem and great seem suppression.

  • Exceptional clarity of sound
  • Tight, non-fatiguing sound and good noise isolation in a compact on-ear design
  • Excellent sound – some additional flexibility
  • Great but quite a low sound
  • Exceptional comfort and sound quality
  • Just a great pair of headphones

Just a good pair of headphones. As quickly as i noticed the modern black box i knew this was likely to be one particular of my far better vine picks. Inside the phones aee neatly established in a moulded inner, with hte removable wire beneath, and the supplemental jack converter. In the hand thye come to feel reliable and not flimsy, and its a neat plan being ready to attach the twine tomeither facet. Genuinely massive clear l and r markings on the outside the house make that effortless, and the adjustable headband is straightforward to shift and stays exactly where you put it. At the time on, i did feel for a moment that there was a little bit of tightness there on my ears, but it before long vanished and following an hour of dress in i experienced no challenge. The ear pads are tender and cozy and can be replaced when worn. The cord is straight with a shorter coiled part not confident this provides considerably. Soundwise, i was incredibly pleasantly astonished at the clarity and depth, im no audio buff but i like to hear and these were surely superior than my prior sony pair. Theyre marketed as aimed at the dj industry, thats not me and i puzzled if i would be let down but for an all round high quality pair of headphones with a extremely satisfying come to feel these strike the place.

Excellent but rather a minimal sound. I have normally prefered the ‘in ear’ headphones, but so much i have been fairly amazed with these headphones. The the thinck pads on every single yr are comfy on the ears, and i observed i could simply use them when lsitening to an entite album or viewing a movie on the laptop without the need of sensation any discomfort. The seem high quality on them is fairly good far too, its crystal clear, and provides a ‘surround’ truly feel, but compared to both of those my sony and marley ‘in ear’ headphones, the seem from them is a great deal quieter and the bass is really very low, which uis quite surprising for dj headphones. Over-all, while classy and comfy, the usually small concentrations of sounds and bass has still left me slightly underhwhelmed with this product or service.

Features of Philips A1Pro/00 Philips A1 Professional DJ headphones

Restricted, non-fatiguing audio and very good sound isolation in a compact on-ear design and style. What do you want from dj headphones?. The priorities are consolation (since you wear them for extensive intervals), durability (due to the fact they get kicked all around), seem isolation (because you use them in a noisy environment), and over all high seem excellent mainly because you need to have the audio to be just suitable. Philips introduced out the large-finish a5-pro in excess of-ear dj headphones in early 2014. The a1-professional is a extra compact on-ear layout in the similar family members. They are a closed-back design (for audio isolation), designed of black nylon, and search clever even though subdued appear in other places if you want a manner assertion. Ratcheted sides let you regulate the sizing of the headband, and the removable cord can plug into possibly earcup and twists to lock. The earcups rotate 90% so you can fold them flat, and you can also twist them a little left or appropriate, to make it simpler to park just one earcup out of the way for just one-ear listening. The ear cushions pop off for uncomplicated substitution. 8m many thanks to a short coiled section perhaps a very little quick but you could very easily get a longer cable if needed. The headphones appear in a intelligent box but the only accent is a 6. 3mm jack adaptor (the cable has the smaller sized 3. No travel scenario or bag regrettably a shame, as a tricky travel scenario does wonders for sturdiness. The seem designed a great impact from the start off. The bass is limited and prolonged without the need of any increase the high frequencies a tiny rolled off but there is no trace of harshness or tizz. I like the three-dimensionality of the sound on well-recorded substance. There is some loss of definition when compared to the finest studio or hello-fi headphones but the audio is great for the price tag, and most critical, you can hear for extensive intervals with out fatigue.

Acquire them when they are a hundred poundsi have offered them a 4 star evaluate due to the fact the clamping power is extreme. If you are applying these for djing, that is specifically what you want.If you are utilizing them just at your desk or while walking about you are likely to need to have to acquire them off every single hour or so to give your ears a rest. The audio: for underneath 100 pounds you are acquiring top rated class headphones. I am currently listening to ‘it won’t matter’ by the chemical brothers, this is a really bass major monitor there is no rattle, no distortion and the bass is not muddy at all. The separation in between mids, highs and lows is superb even at whole volume. These are headphones made to be made use of at substantial volumes as they are dj headphones. I have experienced headphones in the previous that had been supposed to be equipped to tackle large volume (quite vital when you are djing in a loud club and your headphones require to be louder in your ears than the seem method speakers) and they rattled like hell.

Buy them while they are 100 poundsi have given them a 4 star review because the clamping force is excessive. If you are using these for djing, that is exactly what you want.If you are using them just at your desk or while walking around you are going to need to take them off every hour or so to give your ears a rest. The sound: for under 100 pounds you are getting top class headphones. I am currently listening to ‘it doesn’t matter’ by the chemical brothers, this is a very bass heavy track; there is no rattle, no distortion and the bass is not muddy at all. The separation between mids, highs and lows is excellent even at full volume. These are headphones made to be used at high volumes as they are dj headphones. I have had headphones in the past that were supposed to be able to handle high volume (very important when you are djing in a loud club and your headphones need to be louder in your ears than the sound system speakers) and they rattled like hell.

Very comfortable, good sounding quality to all kinds of music. Large headphones for djs, obviously not for travelling everyday. The sound quality is not bad for the price and they fit very well around your ears. The sound of course is very neutral as is required for dj activities. Hence if you are looking for a heavy bass thumping machine, they are not good for that. These have replaceable ear cups, which just pop off and on, and a choice of which cup you decide attach the bayonet cable to. The connector is 1/4″ to fit a mp3 player, but it comes with a screw-on adaptor to convert it to a 1/2″ to use it though studio equipment. These are good for listening at home, or in a small establishment if you are dj-ing.

Great but quite a low sound. I have always prefered the “in ear” headphones, but so far i have been quite impressed with these headphones. The the thinck pads on each year are comfortable on the ears, and i found i could easily use them when lsitening to an entite album or watching a film on the laptop without feeling any discomfort. The sound quality on them is pretty good too, its clear, and gives a “surround” feel, but compared to both my sony and marley “in ear” headphones, the sound from them is much quieter and the bass is very low, which uis quite surprising for dj headphones. Overall, while stylish and comfortable, the generally low levels of noise and bass has left me slightly underhwhelmed with this product.

Best sound of any i have ever listened to (and. Best sound of any i have ever listened to (and i have a few sets). They look and feel quality, nicely made and very well designed, no gimmicks or bells and whistles just comfortable, easily adjustable and they fit me just fine and i have a large headi have used them on two home systems, one of which is quite high end the other run of the mill and these headphones made both sound better than any others, also use them on my laptop and my smartphone. They also work superbly on my car sound system, but only for passenger use as the cut out all other sound. I did use them sitting on the drive though. I like a very wide spectrum of music but these make everything sound good, the bass is really outstanding, i don’t know what sort of power the are capable of but i listened to a couple of tracks that i like almost on the pain threshold and no problem at all as far as distortion goesfirst class headphones in my opinion, although i am not a musician or dj just an ordinary bloke who likes music.

Exceptional clarity of sound. If you are concerned that the cost of these headphones might be excessive then let me ease your worries, for this is a first rate piece of audio equipment. I must admit that i have only used these headphones to listen to music at home and on the train and, by virtue of not being a musician or dj, am unlikely to use them for any other purpose. This said, enjoying my music collection is something that is very important to me and i therefore like getting the best out of my audio gear. I want my headphones to feel as though they are the pint sized equal to the b&w speakers i run off my stereo at home. This is pretty much how i feel these have performed thus far. These headphones are exceptional, the sound clarity is exquisite. The balance is spot on and it picks out buried nuances beautifully. I tested these headphones with some of favourite ‘road test’ albums with excellent results all round – they handled with ease the murky, sometimes fuzzy sound of the cramps ‘songs the lord taught us’, somehow rescuing the vocals that were buried in the mix on some songs, joe hisaishi’s soundtrack to ‘spirited away’ and bjork’s ‘debut’ were swept beautifully to life and iron maiden’s ‘number of the beast’ was every bit as thunderous and epic as you could wish for. It’s tackled everything else i’ve thrown at it with aplomb as well.

The priorities are comfort (because you wear them for long periods), durability (because they get kicked around), sound isolation (because you use them in a noisy environment), and above all high sound quality because you need the audio to be just right. Exceptional comfort and sound quality. ======packaging======these headphones come nicely presented in a cardboard box which contains the headphones, the lead which has a coiled end and extends to 1. 8m and an adapter to change the jack from the smaller size to the larger size. ======comfort======these headphones are among the most comfortable that i have ever worn. They adjust to perfectly suit each user. The cushions are also very comfortable. As an added bonus part such as the cushions, which do wear with constant use, are replaceable. ======functionality======these headphones were not compatible with my macbook pro laptop, until i updated it to yosemite. Then thanks to the comment from reuben i tried them again and they work 100%they work my ipod nano and my iphone, and various other devices. ======sound quality======wow.
