These headphones are brilliant. Loads of unique features compared to its competitors. Noise cancellation is really good2. Works both wired and wirelessall for £99 on boxing day deal.
After a few days i feel like i owe these a review. The headphones, a usb charge cable and an audio jack cable (both which look like shoelace) and a bare bones pouch, though parrot does sell a hard case. You’ll get the best over a bluetooth connection although the battery only lasts 6 hours. The android/ios app lets you change a lot of settings so if you have the time you can make them sound better then the noise cancelling already does. With just a few of the settings switched on they can have punchy beats and clear vocals. I’ve used these in work and with street mode maxed out the mics picked up everything. Due to the price i’m going to say get a hard case too.
Was very skeptical, but i am happy so far. . I had been considering these headphones for a long while and finally upon seeing a pair under £200 i took the hit. It is important to mention that i was incredibly skeptical about the overall quality of these headphones after reading all the reviews on amazon and looking on the parrot forums. The general consensus seemed to be that the sound quality and aesthetics are great, the comfort and active noise cancelling (anc) are mediocre and the battery life, durability & customer service are sub-par. I set up my headphones at work and they were very simple to get going. The app is a doddle to get your head around and the user guide is short and simple. However, straight away i noticed there was an annoying popping/clicking noise in the left earcup when the anc is turned on. A quick google search of the problem yielded the following solution: update the firmware to the latest version & remove the battery and pop it back in again (i added a bit of padding to keep it firmly in place). To my surprise this fixed the problem immediatelythe sound quality is definitely better than all my (.The anc isn’t noticably worse than the bose qc25, so its pretty good.
Good i found the headphones to be excellent when connected. Goodi found the headphones to be excellent when connected to the app with full features. Could be louder but they sound incredible i listen to a lot of drum and bass and house and they sounded better than my previous beats so that was a big win for me. Badwhen wired without the app they perform worse than my beats headphones. There is no app for windows 8 so i cannot get the best of the headphones through my laptop or desktop machines.

Put off buying these due to bad reviews relating to connectivity and the fact that you need the app to turn on features. I took the plunge when the price dropped to £251 briefly. I have to say i’ve had no problems and the sound and noise cancelling is excellent. I have used the app to set them up and now listen to music through my ipod nano. Every time i switch on the headphones they automatically connect to the ipod and resume at the last played song, no need to faff with the app or even touch the ipod. Very comfortable to wear for long periods and i’ve never felt that the adjusters are going to snap, as per other reviews. I’ve bought the parrot case for them which is great but should be standard for such high end cans. All in all very impressed with the quality, quantum leap from my bluetooth sennheisers and at least as good as the bose qc25 but with bluetooth.
A great wireless pair of headphones. A great wireless pair of headphones. Goodbye cables – i’m not going back. I use this at least 3 hours daily – on the tube, at work, in the gym, around the house. Pros – good sound quality – excellent active noise cancelling – they look goodcons – didn’t sound great out of the box. Took a lot of configuration with equalizers – feel a bit tight on the ears after a couple of hours – they don’t connect to computers that have intel bluetooth adapters. Quite a big con this – bluetooth v3 and not bluetooth v4 (cutting costs i presume).
These stopped working after one month of moderate use. The wireless and side panel gave out rendering these useless as i used the panel to adjust the sound. I purchased these at half price from the warehouse; so a replacement was not an option when the price rocketed 50% higher then the price i paid. When they did work they were amazing. It’s a shame it did not come with a hard case; especially as these are targeted to the premium buyer. The cord to the 5mm jack was warped straight out of the box; it is not designed to be wrapped or bent into position. Would recommend but definitely not worth the full retail price; maybe 60% retail; not a pound higher.
